About The Position

The Senior Software Integration Engineer will improve the Atlassian tool suite used by engineering and mission teams through integrations, automation, and customization. The role supports developer and collaboration tools, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo. It is based in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, and requires in-person work, with limited telework potentially available. Applicants must live within commuting distance and currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; the employer does not sponsor new clearances or upgrades.

Requirements

• Eight years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. A master's degree may substitute for two years of experience, or five years of full-time computer science work may substitute for the degree.
• Currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Experience with Linux command-line tools.
• Experience with Bash, Python, or Groovy scripting.
• Experience with Atlassian configuration and customization.
• Experience with integration troubleshooting and testing.
• Experience gathering requirements from stakeholders.
• Live within commuting distance of the listed work location.

Nice To Haves

• Experience sustaining applications in Unix environments.
• Experience training external customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain tools and services for Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.
• Configure and customize Atlassian products for users.
• Troubleshoot integration failures and performance issues.
• Test integrations for functionality and reliability.
• Gather integration requirements from stakeholders.
