Senior Software Integration Engineer – Atlassian Tools
About The Position
The Senior Software Integration Engineer supports developer and collaboration tools used by engineering and mission teams. The role designs, develops, and maintains tools and services for Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo; configures and customizes Atlassian products; troubleshoots integration failures and performance issues; tests integrations for functionality and reliability; and gathers requirements from stakeholders. The position is based in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, and requires regular in-person, on-site work. Limited telework may be available. Applicants must live within commuting distance and currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; the employer does not sponsor new clearances or upgrades.
Requirements
- Eight years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. A Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience; alternatively, five years of full-time computer science work may substitute for the degree.
- Linux command-line tools.
- Bash, Python, or Groovy scripting.
- Atlassian configuration and customization.
- Integration troubleshooting and testing.
- Stakeholder requirements gathering.
- Currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Live within commuting distance of the work location and be able to work on-site regularly.
Nice To Haves
- Experience sustaining applications in Unix environments.
- Experience training external customers.
