About The Position

Anduril is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop advanced algorithms and software that solve scientific problems with real-world applications. Engineers work in small, innovative teams, taking research beyond papers and into mission-critical systems used by customers in government and industry. The role contributes technical expertise and ideas to team direction, prototypes and implements high-performance software from tactical systems to web applications, and uses modeling, simulation, and analysis to quantify technology benefits. It also involves engaging with customers, supporting mission-critical outcomes, participating across the software development lifecycle, and clearly explaining work to colleagues and customers.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or another technical field; an advanced degree is strongly preferred.
• Experience with C/C++, Python, and Matlab.
• Experience with big data, NoSQL, and database technologies.
• Knowledge of software design, algorithm implementation, software analysis, testing, and optimization.
• Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning, clustering, and classification.
• Knowledge of differential equations, linear algebra, optimization, statistics, and random processes.
• Knowledge of controls, estimation theory, and digital signal processing.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
