About The Position

Commure is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its R&D team, which takes emerging technology from inception to impact. The team explores new capabilities—including frontier LLMs, browser agents, and agent harnesses—and works to productionize them for healthcare. The role covers the full lifecycle: researching technology, turning it into a product, delivering it to customers, and owning it until it graduates into a larger product or internal workflow. The position is hybrid and based in Commure’s Mountain View or San Francisco offices. The engineer will build infrastructure for orchestrating, evaluating, and running sub-agents, and turn experimental prototypes into production-level tools and products. They will establish engineering best practices and collaborate with product managers, designers, and clinical experts to deliver solutions suited to real clinical environments. Employees must act in accordance with the organization’s information security policies, protect organizational assets, and report confirmed or potential security events or risks to the information security office. Employees must attest to these requirements upon hire and annually.
