About The Position

Keysight is seeking a software development engineer to work with a distributed team building digital products that transform how customers experience Keysight Services. Products span the full technology stack, including embedded firmware, industry-standard I/O communications, IoT protocols, cloud storage, visualization, and AI/ML methods that turn machine data into actionable insights. The role provides leadership and direction for standards related to next-generation instrument systems and solution-support technologies, solution verification and diagnostics, and IoT communications and cloud storage infrastructure.

Requirements

Undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
Experience with object-oriented languages.
Experience with JavaScript, UI design, and UI frameworks such as React.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to function effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

C++, C#, or Java experience.
Experience interfacing with electronic equipment using SCPI.
Understanding of electronic circuitry and electrical engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction for defining and implementing Keysight standards for next-generation instrument systems and solution-support technologies.
Define and implement company-wide standards for solution verification and diagnostics using advances in AI/ML.
Work with KGSO and IT to define harmonized IoT communications and cloud storage infrastructure that enables solution-support services.
Work with a distributed team to build digital products across the technology stack.
