About The Position

The Senior Software Engineer analyzes requirements and scopes solutions by assessing existing products, identifying gaps against customer or business expectations, classifying requirements, anticipating risks, and contributing to user stories. The role assists with designing product components and modules, evaluating design trade-offs, and translating high-level designs into detailed designs, including mock screens, pseudocode, and functional logic. The engineer develops and configures code for components and applications to meet business, technical, and non-functional requirements, including maintainability, availability, scalability, and security. The role selects appropriate languages, standards, and tools; builds automation scripts for CI/CD and testing; and implements telemetry as needed. It also maps requirements to test objectives, creates and executes test cases, manages defects and regression testing, and troubleshoots performance and availability bottlenecks. The role independently performs complex application maintenance, monitors application metrics and logs, carries out corrective, adaptive, and perfective maintenance and re-engineering, evaluates change requests, and analyzes maintenance and performance data. It also monitors project progress against approved milestones and timelines. The position is located at 811 Excellence Dr, Bentonville, AR 72716.
