About The Position

Social Finance, LLC is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its AML Engineering team in Seattle, Washington. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, architect, and implement end-to-end software solutions, using programming languages, frameworks, and technologies to deliver high-quality, scalable applications. The engineer partners with senior engineers to translate business needs into software solutions, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization. Responsibilities include backend development of robust, scalable, and secure server-side applications, microservices, and APIs; working with databases and data models; and building and maintaining scalable data pipelines for efficient data processing and analysis. The engineer conducts unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, and guides and mentors junior engineers in technical best practices. The position is hybrid from SoFi’s Seattle office, with part-time telecommuting available. A master’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline, plus three years of relevant experience, is required. Salary is $200,000–$220,000 per year, plus standard company benefits.

Responsibilities
