The role contributes to user stories and helps design solutions for product components and modules, evaluating trade-offs and translating high-level designs into detailed designs using mock screens, pseudocode, and functional logic. The engineer creates and configures code for components and applications, ensuring they satisfy business, technical, and non-functional requirements, including maintainability, availability, scalability, and security. The role supports language, standards, and tool selection; builds automation scripts for CI/CD and testing; and implements telemetry. It also maps customer requirements to test objectives, creates and executes test cases, tracks and analyzes defects, performs regression testing, and investigates performance and availability bottlenecks. The position independently conducts complex application maintenance and re-engineering, monitors performance metrics, analyzes logs and maintenance data, evaluates change requests, and ensures work adheres to approved milestones and timelines. The role is based at 1375 Crossman Avenue, Sunnyvale, California.
