About The Position

We're looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join Blueground's Client-Facing Mobile team and help shape the future of the guest experience. Our mobile app is one of Blueground's most strategic products, accompanying guests throughout their entire journey—from discovering and booking their next home to managing every aspect of their stay. As we continue to invest heavily in our technology platform, we're redesigning our post-booking experience from the ground up while expanding the app to cover the complete booking journey, making it the primary touchpoint for thousands of guests every day. As part of the team, you'll build high-quality native iOS experiences using modern technologies and engineering practices, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver features that are intuitive, reliable, and delightful to use. You'll have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, improve the architecture of our mobile platform, and contribute to a product that directly impacts our guests every day. We're looking for product-minded engineers who care as much about the user experience as they do about clean architecture and code quality. Requirements

• 3+ years of full-time industry experience working on iOS
• A deep understanding of the iOS SDK
• Strong platform fundamentals (SwiftUI, CoreData, Xcode instruments)
• Strong CS background
• Strong Swift skills
• Testing mindset and an eye for clean code
• An eye for good UX
• Really comfortable with Git
• Excellent communication in English
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related subject

Responsibilities

• Work on services supporting our customer-facing web and mobile apps
• Work mostly on the backend but with a full-stack mindset.
• Use AI tooling for most, if not all, of your tasks
• Write your unit tests
• Automate stuff. Like a lot.
• Be religious with Git
• Depend on a CI pipeline and world-class telemetry.
• Experiment, learn, and have fun
