About The Position

Mirage is an AI video company developing tools that make video creation easier. Its technology includes multimodal agents that translate creative direction into edits, rendering engines that composite video and graphics, and generative video models. These capabilities are available through Captions, a creative workspace for generating, editing, and designing video; Tesseract, a video-editing engine for AI agents; and APIs for integrating Mirage models into other products. The iOS team owns end-to-end product experiences for creative workflows. The team builds sophisticated creative tools across user interfaces, graphics rendering, and audio/video processing, and works collaboratively with a high degree of ownership and agency. Most roles require working in person at the company's New York City headquarters in Union Square.

Requirements

At least 2 years of professional industry experience.
A track record of shipping high-impact native mobile products in production.
Excellent engineering judgment, practicality, and time-management skills.
Experience with some of SwiftUI, Combine, RxSwift, ReactiveSwift, AVFoundation, Core Animation, and Realm.
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.

Nice To Haves

Experience with OpenGL or Metal.
A grounded, collaborative approach and willingness to do what is needed to help the team succeed.
Experience as a startup founder or early engineer at a startup.
