Senior Software Engineer II, Fullstack (AI)
About The Position
LG Ad Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer 2 (Full Stack) to join its Measurement and Reporting team. The team builds tools that help clients visualize campaign impact across verticals and help sales and operations teams identify campaign execution shortcomings. The engineer will develop and maintain the frontend and backend of the reporting platform, including user interfaces, APIs, backend services, and Agentic solutions. The role contributes across the software development lifecycle and collaborates with cross-functional teams to build scalable, efficient, and user-friendly applications for the adtech space. The position requires working on-site four days per week at the New York City or Denver office. Relocation support is not available.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of full-stack software development experience, with demonstrated effectiveness in frontend and backend technologies.
- Proficiency with ReactJS, AngularJS, or VueJS; TypeScript; and NodeJS.
- Expertise with relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis, including database design and optimization.
- Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Ability to stay current with AI tools and emerging technologies and learn new tools and frameworks quickly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to coordinate with contractors or consultants and own the work they deliver.

- Familiarity with the AdTech space.
- Familiarity with Scala/PySpark and Python.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications across frontend and backend, including UI features, APIs, and database integrations.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code and follow best practices across the technology stack.
- Develop responsive user interfaces and robust backend services and APIs.
- Design and implement backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures supporting application functionality and business logic.
- Manage databases, ensure data integrity, optimize queries, and design efficient data models.
- Work on microservices integrated with the UI application and ensure seamless frontend-backend communication.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimizing performance, scalability, and reliability across client- and server-side components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend and backend technical issues.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to promote code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation.
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants and take ownership of their work.
