About The Position

Assured is seeking a Software Engineer to architect, build, and productize AI/ML infrastructure. The role connects research, product, customers, and engineering, driving AI adoption from strategy through production at scale. It is suited to someone who thrives in an early-stage environment, takes end-to-end ownership, and wants to make a measurable impact on healthcare infrastructure. The position involves designing a modular, service-oriented architecture for configurable healthcare workflows; building orchestration for thousands of concurrent stateful tasks; and developing integrations with external systems including web portals, APIs, PDFs, and spreadsheets. The engineer will also lead the design and deployment of AI-powered digital workers that use LLMs and rules to perform operational workflows, evaluate AI tools and third-party APIs, and work with product, engineering, analytics, and customers to identify needs and deliver solutions. This is an in-office role at the company’s New York City headquarters. The company describes the compensation as competitive, dependent on experience and interview performance, and offers stock options and benefits.
