About The Position

Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s more than 70 million global customers. This role will drive moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments and contribute to large scale planning of strategies. The engineer will design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments. This role will review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures. The engineer will resolve moderately complex issues and guide a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements. Collaboration and consultation with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals is expected. This is an individual contributor role. Telecommuting is permitted, but the employee must report in person to the work location weekly. Multiple positions are available.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or related technical field.
4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software or application development and engineering experience.
4 years of experience with the software development lifecycle.
Experience with one of the following databases: Oracle, MS SQL, Teradata, Mongo DB, or DB2.
Must possess 4 years of experience with at least 6 of the following technical skills: Experience with SAS or SQL; Experience with JAVA/J2EE; Experience with Agile methodologies; Experience with RESTful or SOAP Web Services; Experience with Anthill or Jenkins; Experience with Linux or UNIX; Experience with Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, and performance tuning; Experience with Urbancode Deploy; Experience in Jira; Experience with Application Logging Control tools; Experience with Maven, Oracle, or SVN; Experience in application performance, monitoring and optimization tools Blazemeter, Splunk, or AppDynamics; Experience in Application Programming Interface (API) or User Interface (UI) design and development; Experience in automations and unit testing using Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, Junit, or JMeter; Experience in application or software security web application penetration testing, secure code review, or secure static code analysis.
