About The Position

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking Software Engineers to design, develop, and implement software solutions that solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. The role involves all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Responsibilities also include identifying and troubleshooting application code-related issues, taking an active role in code reviews to ensure solutions align with pre-defined architectural specifications, assisting with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows, and participating in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or in a related field of study.
  • 6 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Technical Lead, Developer, or in a related occupation.
  • Experience in Bigdata on Cloud Platform, Hadoop, Spark, Java, and Python.
  • Experience with Big Data Hadoop ecosystem technology stacks including HDFS, Spark, Hive, and MapReduce.
  • Experience with AWS data lake or with two or more of the following analytics technologies: S3, IAM Athena, EMR, Redshift, QuickSight, AWS Glue, Databrew, or Apache Airflow.
  • Experience with version control tools including Bitbucket.
  • Experience with job scheduling and code deployment tools including Jenkins and CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Experience with developmental toolsets including IntelliJ.
  • Experience with Junit.
  • Experience with databases including Oracle and Teradata.
  • Experience with Data mart design and development.
  • Experience with Application, Data and Infrastructure architecture disciplines.
  • Experience with Angular.
  • Experience with Apache Zookeeper.
