About The Position

At STERIS, we help our Customers create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science product and service solutions around the globe. This role will support, enhance, and implement Oracle Applications with a focus on Supply Chain and Manufacturing Modules. The Senior Software Developer will monitor interfaces and processes in production systems for errors, performance, and any other abnormality. They will troubleshoot and resolve problems reported by users of these modules and applications, develop fixes and changes to programs to resolve issues, and investigate setup or configuration changes required for software applications. This role involves working with Business Process Owner(s) to test and make changes to software applications, developing new programs or making changes to existing programs according to business requirements, and developing test scripts and testing programs according to business requirements. Additionally, the Senior Software Developer will conduct performance tuning of programs, screens, and other objects when performance issues are reported, and perform unit, system, and integration testing, as well as participate in capacity/performance testing of an application.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics, or related field of study
Five (5) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained.
Demonstrated experience in Relational databases
Demonstrated experience in Agile Methodology
Demonstrated experience in XML
Demonstrated experience in Design and programming techniques that provide security
Demonstrated experience in SDLC
Demonstrated experience in Version and revision control practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

Support, enhance, and implement Oracle Applications with a focus on Supply Chain and Manufacturing Modules.
