About The Position

As a digital tools engineer, you will develop, deploy, and support digital solutions that improve engineering efficiency, automate repetitive activities, enhance data-driven decision making, and reduce development lead time across the Interior Development Division.

Requirements

A Bachelors level degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Information Systems / Information Technology, / Mechanical, Aerospace / Automotive Engineering; or equivalent combination of academics relevant industry experience
At least 3 or more years of relevant industry experience
Must have scripting expertise in Python and JavaScript
Microsoft ecosystem: PowerApps (PowerBI, Power Automate), CoPilot Studio
Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office programs
Ability to understand product development and engineering data workflows
Aptitude for studying mechanical design

Developing engineering automation tools
Power Platform
Working with SharePoint APIs
Applying AI/LLM solutions
Developing dashboards and analytics
software development expertise in OOP (e.g. - C++ / Java)
Sharepoint Governance and Site Administration skills
Past experience with configuring tools and templates for CAD software (CATIA V6 preferred)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve digital tools using modern software development practices.
Deliver solutions that automate engineering workflows, reduce manual effort, improve engineering quality, and shorten development cycle time.
Collaborate across multiple departments with engineers, technical leaders, digital transformation teams, and end users to identify opportunities, gather requirements, perform user acceptance testing, deploy solutions, and ensure successful adoption.
Create technical documentation, support materials, training content, and user guides necessary for deployment, maintenance, and long-term sustainability of digital solutions.
Lead or support digital tool projects by defining scope, maintaining schedules, coordinating activities, tracking progress, and communicating status to stakeholders.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, evaluate emerging technologies digital resources and technologies, and expand technical expertise through self-development, training, and industry best practices.
