We're looking for a Senior Strategist, Social Marketing & Strategy to join our team. You'll report to the Director, Social Marketing & Strategy and will push social creative strategy for our high-profile Retail (grocery) client. Only candidates in the New York City or Chicago area will be considered as some in-office time is to be expected. You're a collaborator who combines creative content ideas with smart social media strategies to achieve our goals. You’ll manage and mentor team members, providing strategic guidance, fostering growth and leading internal and client meetings with confidence. You’ll translate client business challenges into social-first strategies that drive engagement, brand growth and business results. You'll deliver ongoing thought leadership to our teams and clients by identifying problems and finding solutions. You know how to analyze performance across social channels, uncover actionable insights, and optimize creative, content and media strategies to drive measurable business impact. You understand how owned, earned and paid social work together and can develop integrated social strategies that maximize the role of each. You'll deliver briefs full of insights, inspiration and updates based on creative feedback and help translate that work into social creative. You know how to find the insight and when to implement it. You understand our client's industry and category, and have a POV after auditing industry examples and trends, such as memes, formats, cultural insights, and new social platforms. You'll partner with the creative team to push creativity and make sure it aligns with the strategy. You'll build knowledge on the macro/micro forces that influence our client's business. You’re excited to wear multiple hats, including everything from client interaction to planning and calendars, to writing briefs, to helping create content.
