About The Position

HubSpot is seeking a Senior Content Strategist for Brand Social to bridge the gap between cultural relevance and product launches on social media. The role involves setting the editorial bar for social copy, writing with HubSpot's distinct voice, and actively participating in product demos and planning to understand features and company moments from an audience-first perspective. This position is hands-on, focusing on shaping words and written nuance across all content pieces before the first draft.

Requirements

  • Ideally, 5+ years in content strategy, social, or brand writing across in-house, agency, or media company environments.
  • Experience working for a consumer-facing or tech company, with the ability to make product and company news engaging for a social feed.
  • Portfolio showcasing sharp organic social-first writing across formats (hooks, supers, carousel arcs, short-form video scripts).
  • Demonstrated understanding of content differences and effectiveness across platforms like TikTok vs. LinkedIn.
  • A strong understanding of internet culture, trends, and current conversations relevant to marketers, sales leaders, and operators on social media.
  • A track record of creating organic social content that has been shared, saved, and discussed.
  • Platform instincts across LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok, with specific expertise in Instagram Carousels and TikTok/Reels.
  • A clear point of view on the use of AI in organic social content workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Setting the editorial bar and writing social copy for HubSpot's organic social media.
  • Collaborating with the Director of Social and in-house social team, partnering with Brand, PR, Product, Exec Comms, and broader Creative and Marketing teams.
  • Participating in briefings, kickoffs, and planning conversations to determine organic social angles.
  • Developing content strategy and copy for launches, business news, company moments, campaigns, and cultural moments.
  • Writing for various organic social formats including carousels, short-form video scripts, captions, and infographics, tailoring messages to each format.
  • Owning and maintaining HubSpot's organic social voice, ensuring content aligns with brand standards.
  • Utilizing AI as an accelerant in the organic social content workflow, not as a substitute for judgment.
