About The Position

HomeServe is a brand that shows up in person, with technicians on driveways and call center teams as the first voice a customer hears. This role is for someone who understands that brand is more than just advertising; it's the entire customer experience. The Brand Strategy Lead will be the internal authority on how HomeServe presents itself across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency, confidence, and a human touch. This role will define the strategic direction of the HomeServe brand by identifying customer needs, market dynamics, competitive opportunities, and evolving homeowner expectations, translating insights into actionable brand strategies. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, consumer research expertise, and strong organizational influence to connect customer insights, business objectives, and brand strategy into a cohesive roadmap for growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 6–10 years in brand strategy, brand management, consumer insights, strategic planning, or integrated marketing with demonstrable experience activating a brand across a complex, multi-function organization.
  • Experience developing messaging frameworks and campaign briefs.
  • Experience leading consumer research, market intelligence, brand tracking, or customer insight initiatives and translating findings into business and marketing strategy.
  • A track record of cross-functional influence, particularly with teams outside of marketing. Comfort operating in environments where brand must earn its seat at the table.
  • Experience partnering with creative teams or agencies.
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical capabilities, with the ability to synthesize multiple data sources into clear recommendations and actionable priorities.
  • Strong communicator — equally effective in a creative brief and leadership presentation.
  • Experience presenting strategic recommendations and insight-driven narratives to senior leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the Brand Across the Organization: Make the HomeServe brand a living, operational reality, translating strategy into practical guidance for marketing, customer service, and field operations teams. Strengthen differentiation, relevance, and long-term brand equity.
  • Lead Campaign Strategy: Support the development of integrated brand campaigns from strategic brief through execution, ensuring consistent messaging across channels and a clear strategic point of view. Develop strategic roadmaps and planning frameworks aligned with organizational goals, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Build and Maintain Internal Brand Fluency: Develop and run a brand education program with context, tools, and confidence for teams across the organization to apply the brand consistently. This includes formal training, reference materials, and ongoing partnerships.
  • Advise Cross-Functional Leaders: Serve as a credible brand voice in meetings where brand may not be the primary focus.
  • Partner with Creative: Develop strategic briefs and messaging frameworks for the creative team and external agency partners.
  • Own Brand Insights & Intelligence: Act as the internal authority on homeowner attitudes, brand perception, category trends, and competitive dynamics. Manage insight programs like the annual customer survey and brand health tracker, customer journey research, and market studies. Translate findings into strategic direction and communicate them effectively.
  • Guide Organic Social & Community: Ensure HomeServe's organic social presence authentically expresses the brand, building relationships with homeowners and telling their stories.
  • Steward the Brand System: Maintain brand guidelines and standards while enabling teams to apply them, focusing on comprehension and confidence over mere compliance.
