About The Position

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, you will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for the reliability, availability, and performance of systems and services. You will work with development and operations teams to apply reliability engineering practices, automation, and monitoring, improving infrastructure and operational effectiveness. The position is based in Phoenix, Arizona, on a hybrid schedule and is part of a global 24x7x365 team. Relocation is not offered. Candidates must be a U.S. Person—defined as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or someone with protected U.S. asylum or refugee status—or have the ability to obtain export authorization, due to U.S. export control requirements.

Requirements

At least 6 years of experience in site reliability engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge of cloud services, containerization, and orchestration technologies.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
Experience with monitoring tools and practices, including Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or have the ability to obtain export authorization.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage monitoring and alerting systems to support high service availability and performance.
