About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated and creative Senior Silicon Product Development Engineer to join its GPU Product Development Engineering (PDE) team. The role manages product bring-up from pre-silicon through NPI bring-up and market launch, and requires strong product engineering skills, expert project management, and the ability to drive complex schedules and resolve problems through analytical and complex problem-solving techniques. The engineer owns development and implementation of ATE test content, maintains project plans to meet market delivery timelines, and helps improve manufacturing yields and minimize excess by accurately predicting test durations and analyzing characterization outcomes. The role also manages relationships with foundry, assembly, and memory vendors, and works closely with Supply and Demand program management to meet and exceed chip quality levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years of direct PDE experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record in ASIC mixed-signal build, characterization, and qualification of BIST and SCAN DFT methodologies.
  • Knowledge of advanced silicon process technology, such as FinFET.
  • Hands-on experience in Chip-On-Wafer-On-Substrate assembly, silicon GPU product engineering, and HBM memory vendor management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional and cross-company collaboration.

Nice To Haves

  • Comprehensive understanding of memory testing methodology.
  • In-depth knowledge of assembly stacking processes and vendor management.
  • Strong grasp of GPU characterization and wafer and final test DFT coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Own development and implementation of ATE test content for the product line.
  • Develop and maintain project plans to adhere to market delivery timelines.
  • Help impact manufacturing yields and minimize excess by accurately predicting test durations and analyzing characterization outcomes.
  • Contribute to business administration efforts through test-duration predictions and characterization analysis.
  • Manage key vendor relationships, particularly with foundry, assembly, and memory vendors, to ensure collaboration and delivery.
  • Collaborate with Supply and Demand program management to meet and exceed chip quality levels.
