About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise ServiceNow solutions that enhance IT service delivery and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow development, platform administration, integrations, workflow automation, and ITSM/ITOM best practices. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to deliver scalable and innovative solutions that support organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, and workflow development.
  • Experience developing and supporting REST/SOAP web service integrations.
  • Deep understanding of ITSM and ITOM processes, workflows, and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules including ITSM, CSM, HAM, and FSM.
  • Experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certifications.
  • Experience leading technical discussions, mentoring developers, and reviewing code.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture, security, and governance best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations.
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Customize and enhance ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HAM, and FSM.
  • Develop and maintain REST and SOAP API integrations with enterprise applications.
  • Configure and support Service Mapping, Discovery, Event Management, and automation capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective resolutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, system specifications, and user guides.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and code reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, development best practices, and governance policies.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across project teams.
  • Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow platform enhancements and industry best practices.
