About The Position
The HVAC Senior Service Technician makes service calls to multi-family and light commercial properties to perform repairs and maintenance. The technician diagnoses HVAC issues and completes repairs on site. The role also involves documenting service work, coordinating parts orders with dispatch, communicating with property management, and keeping the work vehicle stocked.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 10 or more years of previous HVAC experience.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- EPA certification.
- Valid Texas driver’s license.
- Basic computer and tablet knowledge.
- Low- and high-voltage troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of conventional HVAC system changeouts.
- Experience with compressor changeouts.
- Experience replacing blower and condenser fan motors.
Nice To Haves
- VRF and mini-split training or experience.
- Experience diagnosing HVAC issues in multi-family apartment buildings.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose HVAC air handlers, condensers, and package units.
- Enter service notes in the field service application.
