About The Position

The HVAC Senior Service Technician makes service calls to multi-family and light commercial properties to perform repairs and maintenance. The technician diagnoses HVAC problems and completes repairs on site. The role includes recording service notes in a field service application, coordinating parts orders with dispatch, communicating with property management, and keeping the work vehicle stocked.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 10+ years of previous HVAC experience.
• Ability to handle the physical workload.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• EPA certification.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Basic computer/tablet knowledge.
• Low- and high-voltage troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of conventional HVAC system changeouts.
• Compressor changeout experience or knowledge.
• Blower and condenser fan motor replacement skills.

Nice To Haves

• VRF and mini-split training or experience.
• Experience diagnosing HVAC issues in multi-family apartment buildings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC air handlers, condensers, and package units.
• Make on-site diagnoses and repairs for HVAC service calls.
• Input service notes in the field service application.
