About The Position

Morgan Properties is hiring an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot HVAC, appliance, electrical, and plumbing needs at its communities in Largo, Maryland. This full-time role supports the upkeep of the apartment community to company standards, code, compliance requirements, and applicable laws, while helping provide residents with a welcoming and supportive home. The technician works with a respectful, collaborative team, responds to maintenance requests, and communicates with residents and office staff about repairs and updates. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with paid rotating on-call participation and availability for emergency events. The schedule may change based on business needs. Morgan Properties offers training and a path for advancement.

Requirements

• Active, valid driver’s license.
• Personal vehicle.
• Three to five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC, EPA, or CFC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot service issues involving HVAC, general appliances, carpentry, electrical systems, and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff about repairs and updates.
• Participate in a paid rotating on-call schedule and be available and prepared for emergency events.
