Senior Service Technician
About The Position
Morgan Properties is hiring an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot HVAC, appliance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other service needs at its communities in Largo, Maryland. The role helps keep the apartment community in compliance with company standards, applicable codes, and laws, while creating a welcoming environment for residents. The technician works with a collaborative team and may receive training and opportunities to advance. This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Paid participation in a rotating on-call schedule is required, and the technician must be available and prepared for emergency events. The schedule may change based on business needs.
Requirements
- Active, valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
- Three to five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice To Haves
- HVAC, EPA, or CFC certification.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot service issues involving HVAC, general appliances, carpentry, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff about repairs and updates.
- Participate in a paid rotating on-call schedule and be prepared to respond to emergency events.
