About The Position

The Senior Service Manager oversees restaurant shifts and daily operations, supporting the General Manager with financial and personnel administration. The role is responsible for maintaining service and appearance standards, managing costs, responding to guest concerns, and guiding employee performance and development. The position offers a salary range of USD $70,000–$80,000 per year, with monthly discretionary bonus potential.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of senior-level management experience in a full-service, high-volume dining establishment.
• Extensive front-of-house knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge of financial aspects.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.

• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs.
• Assist the General Manager with financial administration, including invoices and reporting, and personnel/payroll duties, ensuring work is accurate, timely, and consistent with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, uniforms, and appearance standards.
• Ensure positive guest service throughout the restaurant; investigate and respond to complaints and take appropriate action to turn dissatisfied guests into returning guests.
• Manage shifts, including daily decision-making, scheduling, and planning, while ensuring consistently high-quality food preparation and service.
• Direct employees on operational and procedural matters, provide ongoing feedback, establish performance expectations, and conduct performance reviews.
