About The Position

The Senior Service Manager helps oversee restaurant operations in a full-service, high-volume dining establishment. The role manages shifts and supports the General Manager with operational, financial, administrative, and personnel responsibilities. It is accountable for maintaining company service and image standards, delivering a positive guest experience, controlling costs, and developing employees.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of senior-level management experience in a full-service, high-volume dining establishment.
• Extensive front-of-house knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge of financial aspects.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Stable and progressive work history.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs.
• Assist the General Manager with financial and personnel/payroll administrative duties, ensuring invoices and reporting are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas; investigate and respond to complaints and take appropriate action to turn dissatisfied guests into returning guests.
• Manage shifts, including daily decision-making, scheduling, and planning, while ensuring consistently high-quality food preparation and service.
• Direct employees on operational and procedural matters and develop them through ongoing feedback, performance expectations, and performance reviews.
