About The Position
We are seeking a senior Field Service Technician with 10+ years of experience with asphalt pavers, street sweepers, and/or other specialty heavy equipment. to support our Colorado Springs branch. This role is responsible for advanced diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of equipment in the field while delivering a best-in-class customer experience.
Requirements
- 10+ years heavy equipment service experience
- Strong diesel, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Ability to work independently in the field
- CDL or ability to obtain (required)
Nice To Haves
- Kubota engine certification preferred
- Dealer experience
- Multi-OEM familiarity
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Asphalt pavers, street sweepers, vac-trucks, and other heavy equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems independently
- Complete accurate work orders including labor, parts, and failure codes
- Communicate clearly with customers on repair status and recommendations
- Maximize billable efficiency and productivity
- Maintain service truck inventory and tools
- Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards
- Collaborate with service, parts, and leadership teams
- Mentor junior technicians
