Salesforce COE - Senior Service Delivery Manager
About The Position
The Huntington Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) team is seeking an experienced Senior Service Delivery Manager to lead delivery teams responsible for the design, build, deployment, and support of Salesforce-related applications. The role calls for experience in strategic planning, funding, prioritization, resource planning and management, and delivering full-stack technology products and services to business partners and cross-impacted IT delivery partners. The manager is responsible for end-to-end Salesforce technology project execution using Agile methodology, ensuring timely, high-quality results, and addressing delivery roadblocks. They plan, recruit, and manage technical team resources; establish an execution model using onshore and offshore resources; and align staffing with deliverables and budgets. The role also develops high-performing teams through goal-setting, coaching, and career-plan progress tracking, and partners with business and IT leaders on technology strategy and release coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 7 years of related experience managing technical teams.
- At least 4 years of delivery experience focused on the Salesforce platform, including one or more of Sales, Service, Marketing, Financial Services, Agentforce, and Data Clouds.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with architects, technical leads, developers, analysts, peer delivery leaders, and business staff.
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to guide a high-performing team, work with partners to set and meet business service-level agreements, and plan and deliver work to expectations.
Nice To Haves
- At least 5 years of experience in large-scale enterprise organizations.
- At least 5 years of experience executing delivery using Agile methodology.
- Salesforce Administration certifications.
- Experience with modern data architecture and integration approaches, particularly service-oriented and event-driven architecture concepts.
- Experience with MuleSoft or similar integration platforms.
- Experience providing shared services to multiple teams.
- Experience in the financial services industry or with financial applications.
Responsibilities
- Direct end-to-end Salesforce technology project execution based on Agile methodology.
- Ensure the team delivers on time and produces high-quality results.
- Evaluate delivery plans and identify, reduce, and remove roadblocks proactively.
- Plan, recruit, and manage technical team members, including Technical Leads, Developers, and Quality Assurance roles.
- Establish a delivery execution model that leverages onshore and offshore resources.
- Align staffing plans with deliverables and budgets, adjusting technical team resources as needed to meet delivery targets and budget changes.
- Build high-performing teams by establishing goals, coaching regularly, and tracking progress against career plans.
- Partner with line-of-business and IT partners to develop technology strategy for capabilities assigned to delivery teams.
- Coordinate release plans and day-of-release activities with delivery peers.
