The Senior Scheduler will complete most complex activities to prepare project schedules for projects of all sizes and provide team leadership. This position will help to mentor and train less experienced co-workers and operations employees. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn. The Senior Scheduler will be responsible for developing and facilitating planning and scheduling training programs for internal team members, including content creation and implementation planning. They will lead project teams in assessing sequencing and methods of construction, project delays and impacts, alternate work plans, and recovery schedules. This role also leads planning and scheduling group best practice and process development efforts, develops and maintains a library of standard project schedule templates, and participates in pursuit opportunities, including interviews and external client meetings during the pursuit phase. Additionally, they will support project teams to coordinate with trade partners’ schedule issues and recovery schedules, participate and provide feedback in job pre-planning meetings, post construction meetings, and monthly project status review meetings, and mentor, manage, and coach a direct report if applicable.
