The Senior Scheduler supports scheduling efforts across large or multiple projects within an office or region, helping ensure compliance with corporate scheduling standards, transparency of project conditions, and the timely completion and profitability of projects. This role works closely with project and regional leadership to align scheduling strategies, support proposal and baseline schedules, manage updates, and oversee all scheduling deliverables. The Senior Scheduler also contributes to business development efforts, participates in schedule review meetings, and takes action on non-compliance issues as needed. In this role, the Senior Scheduler serves as a technical resource and administrator for P6 within the office, while also providing training and guidance to schedulers and project teams. The position gathers and analyzes construction progress information, prepares reports, evaluates scheduling metrics, and ensures scheduling processes follow company policies and procedures. In addition, the Senior Scheduler helps troubleshoot scheduling system issues, recommends improvements to increase efficiency, and applies knowledge of claims techniques to support project controls and schedule management. Success in this position requires strong knowledge of scheduling software, scheduling techniques, and construction project delivery, along with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. The Senior Scheduler must be able to collaborate with jobsite personnel, project teams, and stakeholders at all levels while maintaining discretion, consistency, and high standards. With experience in large-scale projects, contract review, schedule analysis, and training, this role plays a key part in driving project performance, accountability, and schedule success.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of P6, Oracle Primavera Cloud and Microsoft Office products.
  • 5+ years of related construction scheduling experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or 8 years’ experience plus minimum 3 years prior relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling software, scheduling techniques, and construction project delivery.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with jobsite personnel, project teams, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain discretion, consistency, and high standards.
  • Experience in large-scale projects, contract review, schedule analysis, and training.
