About The Position

Talent Connection is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to support a complex enterprise transportation and logistics transformation. The consultant will collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders to design, configure, integrate, and deploy SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management capabilities to improve operational efficiency and streamline logistics execution. The role covers end-to-end transportation processes, including inbound, outbound, and intercompany or stock transport order scenarios. The consultant will support implementation activities from functional design and configuration through testing, deployment, go-live, and post-implementation support, while identifying opportunities to improve transportation workflows, system performance, and supply chain visibility.

Requirements

At least 7 years of hands-on SAP Transportation Management experience.
Participation in at least two full-lifecycle SAP TM implementations.
Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management.
Deep functional understanding of transportation planning, execution, freight settlement, and carrier management.
Experience integrating SAP TM with SAP EWM.
Knowledge of transportation master data, network design, and logistics business processes.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading functional workshops and collaborating with cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

Lead SAP TM functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
Support end-to-end inbound, outbound, and intercompany/stock transport order (STO) processes.
Configure freight unit building, transportation planning and optimization, freight orders, carrier tendering, and freight settlement.
Design and support transportation charge calculations, carrier collaboration, shipment tracking, and execution processes.
Integrate SAP TM with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and related enterprise systems.
Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, APIs, EDI, and integration requirements.
Facilitate business workshops, gather requirements, and lead solution design discussions.
Participate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover planning, go-live, and post-implementation support.
Identify opportunities to improve transportation workflows, system performance, and supply chain visibility.
Communicate with business leaders and take ownership of critical implementation deliverables.
