About the position
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining our CRM and Salesforce solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with business partners and stakeholders to improve Salesforce features and functionality, implementing business process automation, and delivering sustainable solutions. Additionally, you will be involved in configuring, developing, and customizing Sales & Service Cloud, managing low-defect custom development, and building integrations between applications. This position requires certifications in Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or Salesforce Administrator, along with a strong understanding of accounting processes and 8+ years of Salesforce experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business partners and other Salesforce stakeholders to define, evaluate, prioritize, and improve Salesforce features and functionality
- Utilize current Salesforce best practices to implement complex business process automation without encroaching on governor limits or compromising system performance
- Analyze business problems to design, document, and deliver sustainable, streamlined solutions, working individually or leading development as part of a team
- Configure, develop and customize Sales & Service Cloud alongside other supporting software to solve complex business needs
- Manage the technical delivery of low-defect custom development alongside test plans and QA strategy for independent projects
- Migrate code from lower environments and build integrations between applications using REST/SOAP APIs, SSO and oAuth
- Work collaboratively with Finance leadership, Salesforce developers, and Weedmaps business partners
- General understanding of accounting and the various processes within the accounting function
- High-level requirements gathering, ability to translate into technical specifications
- Knowledge of Salesforce Architectural best practices
- Knowledge of project management techniques and ability to lead small to medium-sized projects or development efforts
- Ability to accurately estimate deliverables requirements into development hours

- Java, HTML or CSS background
Requirements
- Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or Salesforce Administrator Certifications
- General understanding of accounting and the various processes within the accounting function
- 8+ years of Salesforce experience developing and managing applications on the Force.com IDE
- Understanding of Visual Force, Lightning Component Framework, Flow Process Builder, Apex controllers, Triggers, APIs, Governor limits, Web Services, and Batch Jobs.
- High-level requirements gathering, ability to translate into technical specifications
- Knowledge of Salesforce Architectural best practices
- Knowledge of project management techniques and ability to lead small to medium-sized projects or development efforts
