Senior Salesforce Administrator (GTM Systems)

About The Position

Medely is seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator to join their GTM Systems team. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day health and evolution of Salesforce, along with key sales systems like LeanData and Salesloft. The administrator will collaborate with various teams to understand process breakdowns, identify opportunities, and build solutions to improve effectiveness. This is a hands-on role focused on treating Salesforce as a designed system rather than a queue of requests, with meaningful ownership and a supportive partner for idea testing. The position reports to the Head of GTM Systems.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5+ years in Business Systems, RevOps, Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, or a comparable technical operations function, including hands-on Salesforce administration.
  • Deep Salesforce data fluency. You know the object model cold, write SOQL, build cross-object formula fields and reports without a tutorial, and understand how CRM data has to be structured to be trustworthy downstream.
  • Integration experience. You've owned a sync between Salesforce and at least one adjacent platform, including the field mapping and entity-resolution decisions that come with it.
  • Cross-system diagnostic instinct. You've traced a reporting discrepancy to its root by inspecting the actual shape of the data, not by trusting a field name.
  • Governance discipline. You document definitions before you build, version your changes, and enforce hygiene at the point of entry rather than by periodic cleanup — and you hold a standard when it would be faster not to.
  • Ownership under ambiguity. You turn open-ended business questions into working systems with minimal specification, and you're comfortable serving Sales, Marketing, Finance, CS, and Support at once — holding the line when a request conflicts with the data model without spending the relationship.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on LeanData experience — lead/account matching, routing, and monitoring.
  • Comfort supporting light development work: Apex triggers, process automation, and troubleshooting code-related issues.
  • Warehouse or lake exposure — you've moved CRM, GTM, and post-sale data into Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar, and modeled it for reporting.
  • AI fluency — LLMs in production for classification, extraction, summarization, and prompt chaining, with AI tooling woven into your own workflow.
  • Consulting, agency, or early-stage background.

Responsibilities

  • Own Salesforce administration end to end — advanced configuration, security settings, and user roles; scalable solutions built on custom objects and advanced declarative automation; the object model managed as a designed system rather than an accumulation of requests.
  • Own the definitions behind our customer and funnel metrics — a documented data dictionary, change control on the object model, and clear ownership of every field that feeds a reported number, with data hygiene (deduplication, matching and merge rules, validation rules, required-field enforcement) enforced at the point of entry so records enter clean.
  • Run lead and account routing end to end — drive automation accuracy to 100% with monitoring that catches drift before a rep does, and instrument the funnel to show where deals stall and why.
  • Oversee integrations and system architecture — third-party integrations, API configurations, and middleware across sales engagement, enrichment, customer success, support, and billing, sequenced toward a hub-and-spoke buildout and a central data lake; support minor development efforts, including Apex triggers and code-related troubleshooting.
  • Build the reporting layer — advanced reports, dashboards, and exec-level views by vertical, so Sales, Marketing, Finance, CS, and Support leadership open the same report and reach the same conclusion.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for GTM systems — triage and prioritize inbound requests across teams, decide what gets built in-house versus routed to our external development partner, support release and change management, and apply LLM-assisted workflows (ICP scoring, intent signals, account research, outreach personalization) that are measurable and repeatable.
