The Senior Sales Manager represents the hotel in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships with assigned accounts while consistently striving to maximize revenue in rooms, public space, food and beverage and ancillary products and services. This role involves soliciting, responding to, and negotiating with potential clients for large and complex group accommodations, often requiring meeting space and/or on-site catering. The position also entails representing the hotel in customer interactions, negotiating contracts, preparing proposals, engaging in outside sales activities, conducting site visits, and attending industry events. Additionally, the Senior Sales Manager provides support to Sales Managers and assists in developing junior managers.
