About The Position

Yanfeng is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to identify, shape, and win new business opportunities aligned with future vehicle programs and OEM innovation roadmaps. This role involves leading early engagement with OEM engineering, purchasing, and program teams to position the company as a strategic partner. The Senior Sales Manager will develop battle plans, playbooks, and long-term strategies to grow and develop with a strategic customer base, and build and execute pursuit strategies for advanced programs, including RFQs, RFIs, and pre-development activities. The position requires developing value propositions that go beyond cost, highlighting innovation, performance, and long-term partnership. Responsibilities also include provisioning and updating information on customer organization, purchasing strategies, technical development, and customer contacts, as well as developing and maintaining business contacts across all customer departments. The role involves collecting and analyzing customer satisfaction data and initiating improvement measures, actively communicating potential improvements/innovations regarding products and processes (both internally and externally), collaborating on BU Sales strategy with the account management team, gathering competitive intelligence and market data, and supporting internal planning for customer cycle plans, volumes, and targeted business strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Level Degree in Finance; a technical education, such as engineering, or program management will also be considered.
  • 8+ years’ experience related to account financial management in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Negotiation skills (information gathering, analysis, strategies, tactics).
  • Established experience/understanding of financial product cost (labor, burden, material, SG&A, profit).
  • Understand, apply, and meet all function-related IOS requirements.
  • Understand, apply, and meet all function-related EHS requirements.
  • Understand, apply, and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements.
  • Understand, apply, and meet all function-related IT/ Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and/or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.
  • Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers, and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, cooperate office, or remote).
