About The Position

We’re looking for a Senior Sales Manager for our Relationship Management team to join our ever evolving Travel Vertical team and help us unleash the potential of every business. This role involves providing leadership for the travel vertical relationship management team, driving activities involved in selling Worldpay products and services, developing new accounts, and expanding existing client relationships. The position also focuses on establishing financial goals, developing and executing sales plans, identifying critical market segments, and ensuring the development and maintenance of long-term relationships with Worldpay’s client base.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Strong management, organizational, team building, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, industry knowledge, financial management, and planning skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Worldpay products and services.
  • Deep knowledge of payment solutions technology, including systems, applications, and industry practices.
  • Expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner.
  • Strong productivity, planning, and workload management skills.
  • Solid decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills to determine client business needs.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve employee-related issues.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, employees, clients, and the public.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for our travel vertical relationship management team, including planning, coaching, recruiting, selection, performance development, and mentoring of team members.
  • Monitor staff performance, implement goals, document progress, approve incentive compensation, and partner with People Team on employee-related matters.
  • Drive activities involved in selling Worldpay products and services, developing new accounts, and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Direct resources in a cost-effective, innovative manner, assisting sales executives in effective use of tools and resources.
  • Participate in establishing financial goals, objectives, and measurements to achieve growth targets.
  • Develop and execute sales plans, goals, strategies, and objectives to achieve team and revenue objectives.
  • Identify critical market segments through market research and competitor analysis, recommending strategies for improvement.
  • Implement and execute sales policies and practices, oversee trade show participation, and contribute to planning of sales meetings.
  • Prepare sales production reports for senior management and participate in building, packaging, and price setting to meet market needs.
  • Monitor client survey results to ensure positive client relationships and satisfaction, responding to feedback as needed.
  • Ensure development and maintenance of long-term relationships with Worldpay’s client base.
  • Instill a belief in Worldpay’s vision, mission, and goals, establishing Worldpay as an industry expert and leader.
  • Encourage staff participation in product, service, and industry-related educational opportunities to strengthen skills and customer service.
  • Assist sales executives in attaining revenue goals, including development of tactical and strategic plans to create and close opportunities.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
