The Sales Engineering team members are highly valued business partners playing a critical role in the sales process. As a Senior Sales Engineer working with accounts in the LED space (Local Government and Education), you will be a trusted advisor to Account Managers and customers, acting as a technical liaison and subject matter expert on Proofpoint solutions. This role focuses on Local Government and Education accounts primarily in the Western U.S. A strong preference is for candidates located in the Draper, UT area for in-office work, though remote work can be considered for Pacific and Mountain time zones. You will develop and deliver compelling stories through onsite product demonstrations, white-boarding sessions, mini-trainings, Lunch-n-Learns, Proof-of-Concept, and Production Evaluations to provide solutions customers can be proud of. The Senior Sales Engineer is the Technical Lead for the Proofpoint Pre-Sales process.
