About The Position
The Senior Sales Associate consistently achieves individual sales goals in support of store sales and profit objectives, provides superior customer service, and takes on other senior-level responsibilities within a store. The role involves selling musical instruments and related offerings, promoting music lessons, developing customer relationships, and participating in store operations. The stated pay rate is $11.00–$12.00 per hour plus commission, depending on location, background, and experience. Music & Arts also offers musicians the opportunity to take gig leave to share their music and return to their jobs afterward. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant work experience.
- Skilled knowledge of musical instruments and written music.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales to exceed personal sales goals.
- Promote the Music & Arts lesson program.
- Build business by networking with teachers, schools, churches, and community organizations.
- Develop customer relationships and deliver compelling sales presentations based on sales training.
- Provide outstanding customer service to every customer.
- Promote customer loyalty.
- Participate in store operations, including merchandising, displays, and maintenance.
- Maintain store security, including perimeter door keys, register keys, and a personal alarm code.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
