About The Position
The Senior Sales Associate consistently achieves individual sales goals in support of store sales and profit objectives, provides superior customer service, and takes on other senior-level responsibilities within the store. The role includes selling products and lesson programs, building relationships with customers and community organizations, and participating in the store’s daily operations. The listed pay rate is $11.00–$12.00 per hour plus commission, depending on location, background, and experience. Eligible musician employees may take gig leave to perform music and return to their job after a tour. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant work experience.
- Skilled knowledge of musical instruments and written music.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales to exceed personal sales goals.
- Promote the Music & Arts lesson program.
- Create business by networking with teachers, schools, churches, and community organizations.
- Develop customer relationships and provide compelling sales presentations based on sales training.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service to every customer.
- Promote customer loyalty.
- Participate in store operations, including merchandising, displays, and maintenance.
- Maintain store security, including perimeter door keys, register keys, and a personal alarm code.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
