About The Position

In the assigned role of Package Consultant 2, the consultant supports ERP requirements gathering, solution architecture, customization, development, integration, performance assessment, documentation, and user training. The role involves translating detailed business requirements into technical solutions and contributing to ERP implementations and enhancements. The position is in Infosys’s Manufacturing unit, which delivers digital solutions for the automotive, aerospace, defense, and industrial manufacturing sectors. The role focuses on SAP S/4HANA ABAP development, including RAP, CDS views, AMDP, OData, and Fiori/UI5 integration, while applying clean-core and upgrade-safe extension principles. Work location is an Infosys office hub in the United States or Dearborn, Michigan. Relocation and/or travel to the work or project location may be required.

Requirements

Experience in development, configuration, solution evaluation, validation, and deployment.
Experience in SAP business process consulting, problem definition, and process architecture, design, and detailing.
Experience in SAP ABAP, including at least 4 years of SAP S/4HANA ABAP experience.
Experience in technical design and development for SAP S/4HANA implementations, including CDS views, AMDP, OData, and Fiori/UI5 integration.
Working familiarity with SAP S/4HANA clean-core approaches and design principles.
Extensive experience designing and developing reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
Proficiency in S/4HANA technologies including CDS Views, AMDP, and the RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
Strong understanding of clean-core and upgrade-safe extension strategies, including in-app, developer, and side-by-side extensions.
Ability to manage RICEFW objects, conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and bridge functional requirements with technical solutions.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
Authorization to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and help validate specifications against business objectives and ERP capabilities.
Contribute to solution architecture design and customize ERP modules and features based on detailed business requirements.
Develop and integrate features into existing applications, conduct code reviews, and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance.
Configure interfaces and execute ETL processes as part of system integration, ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications.
Assess ERP system performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure customizations comply with security measures and regulatory standards.
Create documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to support knowledge transfer.
Design and develop SAP S/4HANA solutions, including CDS views, AMDP, OData, and Fiori/UI5 integration.
Design and develop reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
Manage RICEFW objects, optimize performance, and connect functional requirements with technical solutions.
