University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a full-time Sr. Respiratory Therapist. This role is responsible for delivering respiratory care, including ventilation, medical gas therapy, medicated aerosol therapy, pulmonary hygiene, blood gas sampling and analysis, non-invasive oxygen and carbon dioxide monitoring. The position also involves supervising the implementation of respiratory care in patient care units, providing critical care expertise, education, and relief for routine shift staffing and operations. Selected candidates are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on incentive (if all qualifications are met, including a minimum two-year commitment; current UI employees are not eligible) and an additional advanced respiratory care services differential up to $5,000 (prorated based on percentage). The salary listed is based on 100% time.
