About The Position

As a Senior Resource Planning Specialist at ICON, you will manage and optimize resource allocation across clinical trials and research projects. Your experience in site resourcing and workforce planning will support high-quality outcomes and enable you to mentor colleagues. You will work with project managers and department leaders to assess needs, forecast demand, and ensure efficient use of resources, while providing leadership with reports and strategic insights to support decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
• Significant experience in resource planning, project management, or operations, preferably within the clinical research or healthcare sector.
• Proficiency in resource management software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing resource needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Responsibilities

• Manage resource planning activities, including allocating personnel, equipment, and other resources across multiple clinical projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and department leaders to assess resource needs, forecast demand, and ensure efficient utilization.
• Develop and maintain resource planning tools and systems to track availability, usage, and future needs.
• Identify resource bottlenecks, gaps, or inefficiencies and propose solutions to optimize resource allocation.
• Provide reports and strategic insights to leadership on resource trends, usage, and projections.
• Mentor colleagues.
