About The Position

At Gallagher Bassett, the Senior Resolution Manager helps clients navigate complexity, support recovery, and achieve meaningful outcomes. This role applies claims management experience to analyze exposure, determine appropriate actions, and resolve claims. It handles complex indemnity and lost-time workers compensation claims in Connecticut, works with clients and other parties involved in claims, and provides empathetic customer service to claimants. The role is eligible for hybrid work.

Requirements

High school diploma.
At least 5 years of related claims experience.
Appropriate licensure and/or certification in all states where claims are handled; an active Connecticut adjuster license is specified.
Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Responsibilities

Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex indemnity and lost-time workers compensation claims.
Analyze claims exposure, make informed decisions, plan appropriate courses of action, and resolve claims.
Interact with parties involved in the claim process to support effective communication and resolution.
Provide empathetic customer service to claimants on behalf of clients throughout the claims process.
Handle claims in accordance with client and corporate policies, procedures, standard methodologies, and applicable statutory, regulatory, and ethics requirements.
Document and communicate claim activity accurately and in a timely and efficient manner.
Partner with clients to deliver innovative solutions and improve the claims management process.
Think critically, solve problems, and plan and prioritize work to serve clients and claimants effectively.
