Senior Renewable Electrical Engineer

As a Senior Renewable Electrical Engineer to joining our growing renewables team and lead the design and execution of utility-scale solar projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and a culture that promotes continual employee growth and development. Preferred to have someone hybrid at one of our PSE offices, but open to remote candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other related disciplines.
- 8+ years experience working in the renewable energy industry.
- PE (Professional Engineer) Licensure or the ability to get one within a year.
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst, SKM, ETAP, and SEL Relays.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities

- Lead the design and engineering utility-scale PV, energy storage (BESS), and microgrid projects ranging from 5 MW to 100+ MW.
- Provide technical expertise and support in assisting clients in the planning for integrating renewable energy resources.
- Develop and review engineering construction documents, including drawings, one-lines and equipment specifications.
- Perform and oversee electrical system studies such as load flow, short circuit, one-lines and equipment specifications.
- Coordinate project design assignments and design teams locally and with other office locations.
- Manage electrical scope for projects of varying size, including scheduling, clients and vendors.
- Occasional travel to projects sites to gather site-specific data as needed.
