As we continue to expand, we're seeking a skilled Senior Recruiter (Contract) to primarily support Zayo’s Networks & Technology organization. A successful candidate will have extensive experience and a proven track record recruiting positions at all levels. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of job functions, requirements, and industry-specific skills as well as a proven track record in talent acquisition, and the ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates. Qualified candidates will leverage creative and effective talent acquisition strategies to source and develop robust, diverse candidate pipelines. Our Senior Recruiter (Contract) will be able to handle a fast-paced environment with a high volume of recruitment activities and who has a passion for finding top talent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 (five) years of recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate environment or as an external recruiter
  • Prior recruiting experience within the Telecommunications industry preferred (a blend of agency and corporate experience is a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-location level for positions of all levels
  • Experience sourcing active and passive candidates with a focus on the candidate experience and track recording for finding top talent
  • Experience with behavioral/competency-based interviewing and DOL requirements for interview questions
  • Workday experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with MS 365
  • Self-directed, highly organized with strong attention to detail, and able to complete time-sensitive assignments with composure and perseverance in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills to ensure accurate and effective conveyance of information; connect and effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely and build collaborative relationships with leadership, hiring managers and HR Business partners to build a deep knowledge of the business and your client group
  • Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing and recruiting strategies, plans and processes to identify active and passive candidates, and attract the best people in the competitive market for talent
  • Facilitate and execute the full life-cycle recruitment process to hire Zayo employees
  • Consult with and guide Hiring Managers through the recruitment process and provide the appropriate tools when needed
  • Drive recruiting activities to ensure a strong pool of qualified and diverse candidates for current and future openings
  • Screen and provide the best qualified candidates to Hiring Managers
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees
  • Conduct regular check-ins with Hiring Managers
  • Manage change with an ability to quickly course correct to meet the business needs
  • Ensure compliance with recruiting processes and recruiting KPI’s
