About The Position
Backblaze is seeking a Contractor Recruiter to join their Talent Acquisition team. This role will support full-cycle recruiting for open roles both in the US and internationally. The company is a leader in object storage within the open cloud movement, founded in 2007 and publicly traded on the Nasdaq since 2021. Backblaze manages over three billion gigabytes of data storage for over 500,000 customers globally.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally within a SaaS environment
- Proven ability to manage the full recruiting lifecycle independently, from kickoff to close
- Experience hiring for both technical roles (engineering, product, etc.) and non-technical roles (operations, go-to-market, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open reqs simultaneously
- Based in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Experience recruiting for international roles in addition to US-based positions
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Familiarity with tools such as Greenhouse, Juicebox, or similar ATS/sourcing platforms
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team to support full-cycle recruiting for open roles across Backblaze, both in the US and internationally
- Own the recruiting process end to end — from req kickoff through offer acceptance and hire
- Source, screen, and move candidates through the pipeline efficiently and with a strong candidate experience
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team needs
- Support recruiting across both technical and non-technical functions
