About The Position

The Per Diem Senior Recruiter provides recruitment support to attract, source, and hire highly qualified candidates across clinical, BH, Dental, administrative, and operational departments. This position serves as a strategic recruiting partner to hiring managers while ensuring an efficient, compliant, and positive candidate experience. This role is ideal for an experienced healthcare recruiter who can work independently, manage multiple requisitions, proactively source talent, and support critical hiring initiatives on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in human resources, Business or Healthcare Administration or related field, or at least 5 years of equivalent work experience in a Sr recruitment role.
  • 5 years of full cycle recruitment experience
  • Strong source and networking skills.
  • Excellent interviewing techniques.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Knowledge of employment laws and recruitment compliance.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple openings simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work at least 20 hours per week (days and hours flexible)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • At least 3 years of recruitment in healthcare setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process from requisition approval through offer acceptance
  • Partners with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
  • Source candidates using job boards, networking, social media, professional organizations, employee referrals, and passive recruiting techniques
  • Conduct resume reviews, phone screens, and candidates’ assessments
  • Coordinate interviews and facilitate communication between candidate and hiring manager
  • Prepare offer recommendations and extend employment offers
  • Maintain ongoing communication with candidates and managers throughout the process.
  • Develop and maintain recruitment dashboards on progress
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate’s experience
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies for difficult to fill positions
  • Work with external recruitment vendors as needed, build and maintain recruitment pipelines for clinical and hard to fill roles
  • Attend recruitment events, career fairs, and networking opportunities as needed, or coordinate for another member of the HR team to attend
  • Recommend improvements to the recruitment processes and hiring workflows
  • Monitor labor market trends and provide hiring managers with recruitment insight
  • Maintain recruitment metrics
  • Work closely with HR business partners and hiring managers
  • Participate in workforce planning discussions
  • Support onboarding activities and transition of new hires.
