Requirements

  • University degree in engineering, mechanical, industrial, or aeronautical
  • Work experience 5-10 years
  • Knowledge of repair processes in the aeronautical field
  • Teamwork, autonomy, sense of initiative, good communication, results focus
  • Very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

  • Experience in aftermarket aeronautical field an asset

Responsibilities

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to manage quality escapes
  • Drive Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) in a timely manner
  • Synthesize and analyze data to identify contributors and systemic issues causing product non-conformities
  • Initiate and lead quality initiatives to continuously improve performance, reduce escapes, and lower the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ)
  • Engage suppliers in defining and deploying required actions to eliminate quality escapes
  • Support Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) reduction initiatives
  • Issue Quality Flashes and Alerts as needed
  • Organize and lead process walks within the facility and/or at supplier sites
  • Participate in Quality Clinics to support operations
  • Participate in and lead initiatives that promote a strong quality culture
